There is a new item on the market.It is a magnet that will attach to your oil filter and will trap very small metal particles inside the filter wall.If you order them from an aircraft company they will cost $100 however, from your auto dealer you can get one to fit an aircraft filter for as little as $29. The only difference is the A/C model has a small ammount of plastic cover on the outside.Some of the auto model do not.
